The central city’s People’s Committee said it had granted licences to seven foreign direct investment projects worth US$419.39 million, and agreed investment research for 15 other projects worth an estimated $2.6 billion.
As many as 88 foreign direct investment projects, with total
registered capital of USS$2.26 billion, have been launched in this
central coastal province to date.
The Ministry of Planning and Investment has asked the Prime Minister to
implement an independent evaluation of large scale foreign direct
investment (FDI) projects before giving them the go-ahead.
